A behind-the-scenes look at the Expo before it is setup! Race Crew Volunteers are needed to help
setup the Check-in area, as well as the participant T-shirt area.

Race Crew are needed to register walk up racers the day of the event. Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 5 adult volunteers for this station.

Distribute race participant T-shirts and race bags. Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 3 adult volunteers for this station.

Race Crew are needed to greet excited participants as they enter the racesite and answer FAQs/

Race Crew will help the runners find the corral and to maintain order within the corral.
As the runners come toward the finish line, the Race Crew will cheer and help them find the chute. Duties also include keeping runners moving efficiently through the chute, directing runners to the post-race area where they can wait for loved ones, get their Finishers picture taken, and visit the refreshment table. Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 2 adult volunteers for this station.

Race Crew Volunteers are needed to set up and distribute water, bread and other refreshments to participants before, during, and after the race.

THIS IS REQUIRED BY APEX POLICE DEPARTMENT. LET'S FILL THIS UP! The Start Line and race route can be overwhelming, so we need outgoing, helpful volunteers to point participants in the right direction.
Duties include a proper understanding of the course, being able to stop pedestrian and/or traffic while runners cross. Standing for long periods of time is required
Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 8 adult volunteers for this station.

Volunteers are needed to assist runners with getting the care needed for minor injuries along the course.

This key role is not just about providing hydration support but moral support and excitement! As runners travel the course, they may get fatigued; but with your smiling face and cheering attitude, you will revive them!
Duties include setting up the station, filling and stacking cups with water, restocking cups throughout the course of the morning, handing beverages to runners as they come by, and finally cleaning up the area when the last runner passes. Getting wet and standing for long periods is required for this role. Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 2 adult volunteers for this station.

Necessary role to man children while their parents are running the race. Games, crafts, and activities will be provided and your main responsibility will be to ensure the safety of all the children playing in the kids zone. We will need 5 adult volunteers and unlimited teen volunteers.

Race Crew will help reward the runners by giving them their hard earned awards. Duties include sorting and organizing the awards, as well as pass them out.

When it is all said and done, and we have to say good-bye to our great event until next year. We need volunteers to help tear down the start/finish line area. Duties include taking down signs, emptying ice buckets, bringing hydration tables back to the race site, and cleaning trash from the surrounding area. Standing, bending, lifting 25-50 lbs, getting dirty are all required. Teen volunteers are welcome, but we will need a minimum of 2 adult volunteers for this station.
