Transfers / Refunds / Category Changes: Due to the nature of the industry we have implemented a No Refunds policy 30 days prior to the race. Before 30 days, we will provide a 40% refund. We know things come up so you may also do a one time transfer of your registration to a future CMS race within the same calendar year or to another racer. A $15 fee along with any difference in registration costs will be charged to transfer. The deadline for transfers is 30 days out from race day. No transfers to another race date or racer will be accepted after this date as we have placed our orders for racer swag by this point. Category Changes Racers who want to change categories within the same event (ex. from individual to aqua-bike or relay team, or from Olympic to a Sprint) may do so one (1) week before race day at no additional cost. Category changes after online registration closes may be done in person at packet pick-up for an additional fee of $10 along with any difference in category costs. Deferrals Sorry, we do not offer deferrals to next years races. Participants who swap or sell their race number will not be allowed to race and will be subject to disciplinary action by USAT. They will also be banned from any future Charlottesville Multisports races. For a transfer, partial refund or category changes you must email the race director at least 30 days prior to your event to emily@charlottesvillemultisports.com. Please state your full request including the name of the event you are currently entered in. Swim Time Revisions: You can change your swim time up to 5 days prior to the event. If you need to change your swim time, please email emily@charlottesvillemultisports.com.
