Our runners LOVE our Grillmasters! Fuel the competitors by keeping burgers, dogs, chicken and some other surprises cooking on the grill. There may be flexibility in these times. Please contact Jenn to discuss.
Provide food, beverages and encouragement to runners Minimum Age: 13 (must be accompanied by parent if under 15)
Taking tent down, general clean-up. Minimum Age: 15
Maintain fire in the lodge and help with misc tasks mainly inside. There will be occasional need to go outside to retrieve wood for restocking or walking runners to the Sleeping Cabin. Must be able to carry firewood. Minimum Age: 16.
Set up and organization of the aid station; lunch provided.
Have fun camping out. Keep the lamps lit and the critters away. 2 cots provided. Bring a sleeping bag. MUST BE PRE-APPROVED by AS#2 Captain
Various assignments including preparing food and beverage, concierge drop bag service, and providing encouragement and aid to runners and crew.
Unpack merchandise and organize into a gift shop
Welcome volunteers, runners and mind store
Count and record merchandise and pack up
Prepare salad, dressings, drinks and serve dinner to runners, crew and other volunteers. After dinner, empty trash, wash dishes and tidy kitchen.
Help clean dishes, wash potatoes, and organize the kitchen.
Must be staying in the park overnight. Prep coffee, rolls, cut fruit to have everything ready for breakfast.
General cooking and preparation of aid station food. Type of food varies depending on time of day.
Clean pots and pans and return kitchen to original condition. Pack up food to store or donate.
Thursday: Prepare runner bags with shirts, hats and race packet.
You will be set up outside of packet pickup to distribute parking lot tags and maps for runners.
Move runner bags from Lakes Lodge to Camp Lapihio
Greet runners and hand out runner bags for late pick up.
Previous timing experience preferred. If new to timing, please contact Joe Lugiano
Report to Timing Tent at Camp Lapihio, Record runner numbers and cheer them on.
Greet pacers and assign pacers to runners.
Volunteer to run/assist runners for one or more laps (12.5 miles/lap)

Clean up cabins and bath houses. Sweep out cabins, clean bath house toilets, showers, sinks and pick up litter around campground.
Clean the grill.
Moving and tear down equipment. Moving boxes, equipment and coolers, disassemble tents, clean buckets, coolers and water tank.
