SUNDAY, JULY 15th, 2018
Come on out for the eighth annual 2018 Jefferson Sprint Triathlon & Duathlon and NEW Youth Splash and Dash held at the triathlon and family friendly Crozet Park/YMCA. Find out why experienced racers to beginners keep coming back for this family friendly, neighborhood event year after year! Pool swim followed by beautiful rolling hills bike and a mostly flat run.
WHAT’S SPLASH & DASH?
The mission is to provide kids a safe and fun introduction to multisport.
About Splash & Dash – Splash & Dash is a USA Triathlon national series that provides a fun, safe introduction to multisport. Without the biggest barrier to entry in multsport – the bike – Splash and Dash offers kids a chance to race in a multisport format without the added experience and expense that biking requires. Therefore, any kid who knows how to swim can therefore enjoy this awesome race experience.
The Series – CMS has produced the new Jefferson Splash & Dash and the Blue Ridge School Youth Triathlon races this year in an effort to bring Youth Multisport and fitness right here to the Charlottesville area. Together with the Dogwood Duathlon we have a three race series which finishes with your child having completed their first official Triathlon on September 8th, at the Blue Ridge School!
We have awards for both individual events and for kids who have completed all three of the CMS kid's series events.
