10 Miler Course Update

Thank you for you patience and understanding as we worked to determine the new route for the 10 Miler. As we shared yesterday, the portion of the greenway that was part of the certified course is closed due to flooding and will not be accessible tomorrow.

The new course will cover a distance of approximately 9.7 miles instead of the originally planned 10 miles and will not be certified. It will feature a few out-and-back segments, providing an opportunity to see fellow racers along the way. We've linked the new course map here.

If you prefer to run a certified course, you are able to switch to the 4 Miler until 6 PM today using this form. If you choose to switch to the 4 Miler, you will need to get a 4 Miler bib. Please visit Customer Service at Packet Pickup (Hilton Greenville) until 7 PM today if you switch distances.

As a reminder, the Double Down Challenge will run the unchanged 4 Miler course and then run the updated 10 Miler course.

We understand that many of you were looking forward to the original 10-mile course, and we truly regret that we're unable to offer the full distance due to the unexpected flooding. We appreciate your flexibility and understanding as we make these adjustments, and we’re confident that the revised course will still offer an exciting and rewarding challenge. Thank you for your support.
