Set Up

Set up canopy, bike rack, tables and chairs. Put signs along street. Put out registration materials. Also set up give-away items or t-shirts for sale. Get meal tickets from OFD committee member. Set out some water and snacks.

Registration

Check-in pre-registered riders and register same day riders. Give them wrist band and meal ticket. Give them map or show directions. Offer t-shirts for sale if appropriate and check to see if they have a prize.

Set up canopy and table. Fill dispensers with ice and water. Mix Gatorade in one of the dispensers. Put out snacks. Keep drinks and snacks refreshed. Encourage riders and give directions if needed. Take a chair for yourself.

Circulate the route and offer assistance to riders who have mechanical problems or are physically in distress. A tire pump and basic tools are desirable and take extra bottles of water in case anyone needs a drink.

Assist with taking down staging area and cleaning the area. Assist with transport of supplies if needed.
