The 10 mile course will start in the parking lot near the kayak launch sign then proceed onto the greenway then into the parking lot with a right turn on Hog Run beginner mountain bike trail. You will then link up to the Intermediate trail then cross the road on the advanced trail looping back to the intermediate trail then back along the beginner trail. Once you exit the trail you will turn left then loop around the field to join back on the orginal 5 mile course below.
The run will start in the parking lot near kayak launch sign then proceed onto the greenway then the main park road to the disc golf parking where runners will turn left then proceed on the Peninsula Trail. The road portion is roughly 3/4 of a mile. The Peninsula Trail will lead runners along the lake shore through a variety of forest habitats, including a longleaf pine stand and mixed oak/hickory hardwoods. The 10 miler will make the turn near the parking lot exit to start the 2nd loop.
Water stops will be located at mile 2,4,6,9.5 on the 10 mile and mile 1, 4.5 of the 5 mile course. Serving water only! Please bring all other electrolytes or gels.
