2025 Skinny Turkey Run – Thanksgiving Morning Tradition

Start Your Thanksgiving with a Finish Line

Before the feast begins, gather your friends, family, and four-legged running buddies for one of Raleigh’s favorite holiday traditions — the Skinny Turkey Run!

Choose from a Half Marathon, 10k, 5k, or 1-Mile Walk. also the Free Kids Dash — every distance is stroller and pet-approved, so no one’s left behind on this festive morning!

All races start and finish at Wakefield High School, making it easy to park, run, and get home in time to put that turkey in the oven.
