Bib & Timing

To ensure your time is officially recorded:
Bibs must be worn on your torso or running belt, visible and horizontal.

Do not wear your bib under a top layer, inside a jacket, on your back, or on the side of your leg.
Timing chips are on the back of your bib — if your bib is not visible, your time will not be recorded and you will be ineligible for awards.
Remember: No chip, no number, no time.

Timing
Half Marathon, 10K, and 5K are electronically timed via the chip on your bib. Do not bend, fold, or detach your bib or the chip/foam on top of the chip.
Top 3 Overall Finishers  determined by Gun Time
Gun Time:  The time recorded from the official starting signal (gun) to when the runner crosses the finish line.

Age Group Finishers determined by Chip Time
Chip Time (Net Time/Mat Time) The time from when a runner's chip (often attached to bib) triggers the timing mat at the start to when it triggers the mat at the finish. This time reflects the individual's actual running time, excluding any delay in crossing the start line.

Finish Times
After crossing the finish line, the system may take up to 20 minutes to update your official time.  Results will be posted on the event website — QR codes near the results tent and sponsor booths make it easy to check your time.  Results Link

Do not approach the timing area at the finish line — this can impact your time and others’ times. Violating this rule may result in disqualification.

If Your Time Does Not Show
All timing is preliminary until 9:45 AM.
If your time is missing or incorrect by 9:40 AM, notify an FS Staff member or volunteer at the Results Area — they will escalate it to the Timing Team.

Do not speak rudely to volunteers providing your results.  Rude behavior = disqualification

Final Results
All timing will be corrected before awards/prizes are distributed.
All Race Director decisions are final.
