Once again, the race will be run on the cross-country course at WakeMed Soccer Park located at 201 Soccer Park Drive in Cary.
Profits from the race will benefit the Greater Raleigh Young Life, a non-denominational Christian outreach.
The entry fee is $30 increasing to $35 after April 6. The fee includes a t-shirt guaranteed to all those registered by April 2. After that, it will be on a first-come, first-served basis.
Participants in the 5K can either register as a “competitive” or a “recreational” participant. The competitive runners will be issued timing chips, will receive official times, and be eligible for awards. The recreational runner/walker will not receive an official time but will be able to see his/her finishing time in a digital clock at the finish line.
Late entrants can register and pre-registered runners can pick up their packets either at Omega Sports located at 4120 Main at North Hills on Friday, April 13, from 5-7 pm or on race day at start/finish area beginning at 7:45 am.
