While E-bikes and e-assist bikes are welcome on the ride, e-bikes and e-assist bikes will NOT be permitted at our Cycle North Carolina charging stations. If you will be outdoor camping, you will need to purchase the Platinum Bike Service Package that include e-bike and e-assist bike charging services. If you are staying in a hotel, please remember that bikes are NOT allowed on our shuttles. You will have to detach your battery/batteries and take them with you on the shuttle if you choose to charge them at the hotel instead of utilizing our service.
Our Bike Mechanics, Lake Gaston Outfitters, offers various service packages that you can ad
d to your registration. As a reminder, e-bikes and e-assist bikes will NOT be permitted at our Cycle North Carolina charging stations. If you are bringing an e-bike or e-assist bike and will be outdoor camping, you will need to purchase the Platinum Package below for any e-bike charging needs. The Platinum Package is only available if you indicated that you are bringing an e-bike or e-assist bike earlier on this registration form.
For those staying in hotels, Cycle NC will provide a location at camp for your to secure your bike overnight (you will need to bring your own bike lock) or you can purchase the Silver Package below that includes secure storage and protection from the elements.
Platinum Package Includes:
- Charging for E-bikes and E-assist bikes (one battery included, extra batteries allowed for an additional fee)
- Wipe down depending on conditions
- Chain lube and tire inflation
- Safety check with minor adjustments
- Priority for more advanced repairs if needed (at an additional charge)
- Secure storage for the night with protection from the elements
Gold Package Includes:
- Wipe down depending on conditions
- Chain lube and tire inflation
- Safety check with minor adjustments
- Priority for more advanced repairs if needed (at an additional charge)
- Secure storage for the night with protection from the elements
Silver Package Includes:
- Priority for more advanced repairs if needed (at an additional charge)
- Secure storage for the night with protection from the elements
Bike Assembly/Shipping Services:
If you are flying into RDU and need to ship your bike, our bike techs will receive your bike, assemble it before the event and have it delivered to the start of the ride. After the ride, our bike techs will handle the breakdown, packing and shipping of your bike back to your home. Shipping cost is NOT included.
