When last held in 2020, there were seventy-two entries in this race. Nicholas Luke took overall honors in 17:53, while Mindy Gagliardi was the top female finisher in 22:54.
The event is being put on by the Band Boosters of Fuquay-Varina High to raise funds for the school band. The race will start and finish at the Fuquay-Varina High School which is located at 201 Bengal Boulevard in Fuquay-Varina. Click here to download a course map.
The entry fee is $30 if registered NLT February 20th. After that date, the fee is $35 up to and including race day. T-shirts are guaranteed to all those registered by February 21st. After that date it will be “as available.” Additional shirts can be ordered for $15 each prior to the 22nd.
Pre-registered entrants can pick up their race packets and late entrants can register at the High School on race day beginning at 7:45 am.
The first three males and the first three females to finish will receive awards.
Other awards will be given to the Best Dressed Male and Female, best participant exhibiting school spirit, the best couple, the most musical runner, and the best Band Parent (embarrass your child).
